Other Interests

Dr. Snow regularly co-leads WVU Education Abroad trips to places including Greece, Spain, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.  He grew up deeply involved in the world of sports, particularly soccer, baseball, and golf, and carried that enthusiasm throughout a long life of fandom and recreational participation.  Having not traveled in his childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood, he is now a devoted participant in going to places previously unknown and eating things previously unimagined!

Though not a musician himself in any way, he spends much/most/ALL of his free time and pedagogical preparation searching out musics new and old — but particularly jam bands like Phish, Spafford, & Goose!  He also loves playing the role of sous chef in the kitchen at home with his wife (Dr. Alyssa Beall, also in Religious Studies) and two cats.
