The religious studies major is a B.A. degree program offered by the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences. The program offers instruction in the history and practice of many world religions, including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Near Eastern traditions. Students are also offered the opportunity to study Hebrew and Christian scriptures and ethics. The program seeks to address current issues through activities such as guest lectures, panels and forums for students and the public.

Students pursuing a degree in religious studies can move on to law school, ministry, theology, medicine and business post-graduation.
